KADUNA POLYTECHNIC STRIKE UPDATES Massage from a student to the S.U.G

 Finally something reasonable was written

  As a student of kaduna polytechnic, I write to ask the SUG CTC committee and elected SUG executives about their unwillingness and ineffectiveness to act for the resumption of the students from this ongoing strike? 
We took our time to patiently queue under the sun to cast our vote in other to elect you as our representatives, to promote our welfare and to defend our rights while you're paid for your services. 
I am unhappy to sit at home for exactly 43 days (1 month and 13 days) without any meaningful effort from our representatives. Why you guys reluctant to swing into action, is it because the interest of management will be challenge? We elected you to be our leaders in the face of challenges and comfort, lead us in the struggle for liberation and to share weal and woe of the students all the time. 
During the student union election including the department and state, the students religion bodies in the school made us to understand that it is disservice and a crime before God to vote for a person who are not practice the same religion with you irrespective of his credibility but when the welfare of the students are stake their intervention cease to exist leaving all of us to suffer including them.
The student unionism in kaduna polytechnic only live in past glory, the management had successfully strips her power and render it impotent. The present comrades in kadpoly want to take accolade from the management and label as a good and obedient boy by them, care not about the struggle for  improvement for the welfare of students. This is bad habit and disservice to the students and what student unionism stand for. 
As a concern student, I suggest this: that the SUG CTC committee and elected SUG executives should hold meeting with department president who are in kaduna presently both elected and outgoing one, meeting with ASUP executives and brainstorm with them on permanent solutions to this incessant strike and meeting with management and bold enough to tell them that students are not happy with the way we are treated by them, tender the agreement reach with ASUP to them for implementation and tell them to enter dialogue with ASUP immediately and provide permanent solutions to the problem with a stipulated time. Always update students at every stage and quickly give students the role to play along the course of struggle.  Aluta continua, Victoria ascerta!
